Opportunities for children
During the 10:30 service, we offer a staffed nursery for newborns through 3 year olds. After meeting with the congregation for worship and communion, children are dismissed to hands-on, interactive classes for the following age groups:
- 2-3 Year Olds
- 4-5 Year Olds
- K-1st Grade
- 2nd-3rd Grades
- 4th-5th Grades
Note: All staff, paid and volunteer, must pass a background check in order to work with youth of any age.
Additional Activities
- Fellowship activities with small groups for fun, connection, and spiritual development
- Annual Celebrations: Back-To-School Bash, Trunk or Treat, Breakfast with Santa, Easter Egg Hunt, and Promotion Sunday
- Sunday Service Projects: collecting school supplies, creating bulletin boards, decorating classrooms, and sending cards to the elderly and ill
- Palmetto Bible Camp: a week-long camping experience during the first week in July in Marietta, SC, with large group sessions, daily classes, athletics, crafts, games, swimming, and boating staffed by adult and college-age volunteers
